Monday and Tuesday will be very wet across Newfoundland. Much of the island is in the 5 to 15 mm range, with some areas reaching roughly 15 to 25 mm. Toward the southeastern Avalon, approximately 30 to 50+ mm could fall. A band of enhanced precipitation extends through parts of the south coast, with some localized 20 to 40 mm amounts. Precipitation is generally lighter across Western Newfoundland, although parts of the southwest and west coast show areas around 10 to 20 mm.

There is a chance of showers across eastern and central Newfoundland this morning. Along the west coast, rain is expected to continue with 2 mm expected along the southwest coast, 5 mm in Corner Brook and 5 to 10 mm in Port Saunders. Expect highs from 13 to 19.
